Mercedes Ruiz López, artistically known as YoSoyValentina (YSV), was born in Chipiona (Cádiz) and has found in music, love, and her family the fundamental pillars of her life. From a very young age, she felt a special connection with music—an innate passion that, at just three years old, led her to sing for her entire family.

At the age of nine, she began her training at the conservatory, taking her first academic steps into the musical world. Later, she expanded her knowledge in the field of musical performing arts, developing professionally at her school. Thanks to this comprehensive training, she brought YSV to life—a project that goes beyond being just an artist: it is the fusion of different disciplines, influences, and lessons learned through performance and various musical genres.

For YoSoyValentina, music is a form of expression that transcends the boundaries of a single style, allowing her to explore and share her essence from multiple perspectives.
